Declaration of postal parcels
All parcels from countries outside the European Union – both goods ordered from online stores as well as gifts sent by private persons – must be declared and VAT paid. If necessary, customs or excise duties must be paid too. As an exception, gifts up to 45 euros in value are exempt from VAT.
The most convenient way to declare parcels is electronically in the online services environment e-MTA.
